yesterday was the last day of my volunteer service... =)... it was a sweaty day for me... i woke up at 6am... bath and have a quick bite of my breakfast... reach there on time... of course my father drive me there... =D...

it was really early as they claim that the elderly will wake up real early... after that we took 135 to circuit road to pick the eldery up... (ohh these elderly stayed in a 1 room flat...) and we took a "shutter" bus to china town... our job was to interact with them... and hold them when they are crossing the road, climbing the stairs and etc... when i was in the bus... the elderly i was in charge with is super quiet... i didnt talk to her for the whole journey... cuz i dunu how to start a topic... =(... anw bought them to have porridge for breakfast... interact with them... zhi yong ask abt their children... n i can c that their faces change immediately... they felt sad and unhappy abt it... as it is a sensitive question to them... haii... and we gave out part of the non-slip slippers to them... after it we walk ard china town...

some of them felt tired easily as the weather is hot... so half way thru we bought them to the near by hawker center to sit n have a drink... i was so tired cuz i didnt slp for the whole day... couldnt get to slp... then i wanted to have ice milo to give me energy... but someone took it away... =@... i drank ice milk tea instead... after resting we cont our journey...

hmmm.. about 1 plus we need to bring the elderly back to their home... seeing their smiling faces and enjoying themselves makes me feels happy to... ^^... after they went home we still need to go door to door n give out the slippers to the elderly... jan told us that there was one senerio last time that one volunteer was being chased by a mad guy... i was like 0.0... gosh! anw... me and jia xin went up to the 9th floor to give out... we was like @_@... the alley was really scary... we saw some doors are being splashed by red paint... saw some ah beng and such...

when we finish delivery and wanted to get in the lift... this guy was coming out from his house... and we were like oh no... jia xin and me faster get in the lift and press DC... but the lift was so slow... the guy manage to get in the same lift with us... but gladly nth happen... phew...

i felt that they r more looking forward to foods instead... and some of them saw us going to give out something and they were there asking whether do they have a share and such... even roses they want also... the moment i c the senerio... i felt that we r really forturnate... of course every family got their own problems too... we really muz treasure what we have...

anw... i am of course looking forward doing volunteer service with the SECDC again... ^^... happy to mit all of u... =)))
